Biographies
 | Jim Caron, Morgan Stanley Investment Management Jim is a fixed income portfolio manager at Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) a member of the Asset Allocation Committee. He manages Global Sovereign and Global Aggregate total return funds and a non-index driven absolute return fund called Global Fixed Income Opportunities, which has consistently achieved a five-star rating from Morningstar and has won multiple Lipper Awards for performance. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2006 and has 26 years of investment experience. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of global head of interest rates, foreign exchange and emerging markets strategy with Morgan Stanley Research. Previously, he worked at Merrill Lynch and held various trading positions as a market maker including options trading starting his career at JP Morgan. Jim received a B.A. in physics from Bowdoin College, a B.S. in aeronautical engineering from the California Institute of Technology and an M.B.A in finance from New York University, Stern School of Business.
| | Bruce Fox, Genworth Bruce is Senior Vice President, Head of Derivatives and Treasury Trading. He oversees a $25 billion Derivatives portfolio covering OTC and exchange-traded rates, FX, credit and equity derivatives. Bruce is also a member of the Asset-Liability management Committee for Genworth Financial. Bruce joined Genworth in 2010. Prior to joining Genworth, Bruce held several leadership positions in Risk Management and Derivatives Trading while at Citigroup and it’s subsidiaries from 1986-2010. Most recently, he was responsible for managing global teams of risk professionals. During this time, Bruce was also involved in “sell-side” sales and trading and “buy-side” trading, as wel as alternative asset portfolio management.

 | Michael Hanson, TD Securities Michael Hanson is the Head of Global Macro Strategy and the Chief U.S. Macro Strategist for TD Securities, based in New York. Michael is responsible for market-relevant commentary and forecasts of Federal Reserve policy and the U.S. economy. He also manages the firms global macro products. In his roles Michael meets regularly with internal and external clients of the firm. Michael joined TD in January 2017 after more than seven years at Bank of American Merrill Lynch where he was a Senior Economist, responsible for US and global economic forecasts and commentary as well as the firms Fed call. Prior to that he was a staff economist in Monetary Affairs at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and a senior economist at Lehman Brothers. Michael has also held positions at the New York Fed, Wesleyan University and Yale School of Management. Michael graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a B.A. in Economics (with honors) and a B.S.E. in Public Policy and Management from the Wharton School. He has an M.S. degree in Mathematics from New York University and was awarded a M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan.

Attila Juhász manages the risk and investment strategies of all the USD fixed income portfolios for both internal clients of the World Bank Group and external clients. Mr. Juhász joined the World Bank Investment Management Department in 2006 and has over 15 years of investment management experience in fixed income products, focusing in particular on global bond markets and on derivative strategies. Prior to joining the World Bank, Attila worked at the National Bank of Hungary as a portfolio manager in the Reserve Management Department where he was responsible for managing the Euro investment portfolio. Mr. Juhász has an MS in Economics from the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and is a CFA charterholder. |
| Moti Jungreis, TD Securities As Vice Chair of Global Markets, Moti is responsible for overseeing the sales, trading and origination for all of TD Securities globally. As Co-Chair of the Visible Minorities Committee and a member of the TD Securities Supervisory Committee, Moti plays a key role on the firms senior leadership team.
Moti joined TD Securities in 1996. Since that time, he has held several positions in trading and sales capacities. Previous to that, Moti was a Lieutenant for the Israel Defense Forces.
Moti holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto. Moti is a member of the Canadian Foreign Exchange Committee as well as the Investment Committee for the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation. |  | Colleen Keenan, World Bank Colleen Keenan has over 15 years of experience in financial services and communication. She joined the World Bank Treasury in 2007. In her current role, Colleen is responsible for outreach on the World Bank’s bond issuance programs for the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA) to the sustainable and impact investing community. She also focuses on related global initiatives to build sustainable debt capital markets. Previously, she led outreach and communication efforts for the World Bank Treasury’s client advisory and financial products businesses. Before joining the World Bank, Colleen held various roles at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in New York where she focused on client services and marketing for institutional international equity and global asset allocation products. Rich more recently worked as Head of European Rates and FX Research for TD Securities in London. Prior to this, Rich worked as the Senior International Economist for TD Economics, responsible for forecasting the global economy. Liberatore, CFA is a managing director and fixed-income portfolio manager at TIAA Investments, an affiliate of Nuveen. Mr. Liberatore is the lead portfolio manager for the firm’s responsible investment fixed income mandates that incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria, including the Social Choice Bond strategy, and holds responsibility for investment strategy and securities selection. He joined TIAA in 2004.
With 22 years of industry experience, Mr. Liberatore has also held positions at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. and Protective Life Corporation where he was responsible for portfolio management, credit research and trading for both total return and liability-driven assets.
Mr. Liberatore is a member of the initial executive committee of the Green Bond Principles and the CERES Green Bond Working Group. As a subject matter expert on the management of total return ESG fixed-income portfolios and green bonds, Mr. Liberatore is a frequent speaker at both ESG and fixed income conferences. His views on ESG fixed income investing and green bonds have been featured by numerous media outlets, including Bloomberg Television, CNBC, Institutional Investor, Kiplinger’s, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.  | Priya Misra, TD Securities Priya Misra is a Managing Director and Head of Global Rates Strategy at TD Securities. Based in New York, Priya is responsible for the macro calls on the U.S. and global interest rate markets, and provides investment advice to clients. Prior to joining TD Securities in September 2015, Priya led U.S. Rates Strategy Research at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for five years. Between 2001 and 2008, she worked at Lehman Brothers as an Interest Rate Strategist, Barclays Capital as a Mortgage Strategist and Nomura Securities as Head of U.S. rates Strategy. Priya was ranked in the top three for U.S. Governments Strategy and Federal Agency Debt Strategy in the Institutional Investors All-America Fixed Income Research team surveys for 2014 and 2015, and for 2003 to 2008. Priya graduated from the Lady Sri Ram College, University of Delhi, with a bachelor’s degree in economics. | Greg Moore, TD Securities Greg Moore is Managing Director, Head of U.S. Fixed Income Commodities and Currencies, Global Head of Commodities at TD Securities based in New York. Prior to this, he was the Head of Market Risk Control in TD’s Toronto office. In his over 20-year career with TD Securities, Greg established and ran the STIRT trading desk in Tokyo and then went on to become the Head of Fixed Income Currencies and Metals, Asia Pacific in Singapore, successfully managing the relocation of the business from Sydney to Singapore. Based in London from 2003-2008, Mr. Moore was responsible for trading, market making and syndication across products in emerging market currencies, working with high grade borrowers in the distribution of new bond issuance. John Moore is Executive Managing Director of Global Fixed Income, TD Securities, where he joined in April 2009. Prior to this role, he worked at TD in New York, building TD’s USD Fixed Income business. John began his 23-year career at Salomon Brothers where he worked in Capital Markets covering Canadian sovereign and corporate borrowers. He spent six years at JP Morgan across various disciplines, including Capital Markets, Government trading, and derivatives. In his last three years, he managed the Global AAA business in New York and London where the business originated, traded, and executed bond and derivative transactions for the world’s largest borrowers. In 2001, John joined Bear Stearns in New York where he ran the U.S. Agency business. His roles in New York included running Syndicate and Debt Capital Markets. He moved to London in 2004 to manage all Sales and Trading activities, becoming Head of Fixed Income for Europe and the Middle East. In 2007, John moved to Hong Kong as Bear’s first CEO for Asia Pacific. John holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University. He currently resides in London, England with his wife Christine and his two children. | 
| Michael Murphy, TD Securities
Michael Murphy is Managing Director and Head of International Credit Trading based in London. With over 20 years of fixed income experience, Mike is responsible for a multi-currency including USD credit trading team, with traders based in New York, London, and Singapore. He joined TD in July 2010. Before joining TD, Mike spent four years trading cash, CDS, and index products at BNP Paribas. He started his career at Lehman Brothers in New York before moving to London to help set up the Euro Credit Trading desk. Mike holds a BSSc in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Queen’s University, Belfast, and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. |  | Ameez Nanjee, Freddie Mac Ameez Nanjee joined Freddie Mac in September 2004. In his most recent role, he is responsible for managing Freddie Mac’s interest-rate risk as well as managing Freddie Mac’s Liquidity Investment Portfolio. In his previous roles, he was responsible for issuance of Freddie Mac’s long-term debt syndicated products or through option-embedded debt issuance for customized client needs. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Nanjee worked in the Healthcare Services industry and performed the role of financial analysis and forecasting. He also worked for a few years as a Production Engineer in the printing and packaging industry.
Nanjee earned an M.B.A. from Virginia Tech University’s Pamplin School of Business in 2002 and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from University of Mumbai in 1998.

 | Steven Nichols, Southern Company Steven Nichols manages the Capital Markets team at Southern Company, one of the largest electric and gas utilities in the US. He is responsible for management of Southern Company’s $50 billion long-term debt portfolio and for all long-term debt and equity financings for all eight of Southern Company’s public market issuers. To date, Steven has led over $3.5 billion in green bond issuance, including the first green bond by an investment grade U.S. power producer, the first green bond by a regulated U.S. utility, and the first euro-denominated green bond by any U.S. issuer. Previously, Steven managed Southern Company’s interest rate and counterparty credit risk. He also played a key role in securing Georgia Power’s U.S. Department of Energy loan guarantee, which supports the construction of two new zero carbon nuclear power units at Plant Vogtle. Ed Rubin is Managing Director, Global Head of Fixed Income Sales at TD Securities based in New York, responsible for driving and developing TD’s Fixed Income distribution across the US, EMEA, and Asia. Prior to this, Ed was Head of US Relationship Management, responsible for building TD’s Real Money Strategy, developing and overseeing strategic partnerships with TD Securities’ largest clients in the US, which he will now continue to do in his new role on a global basis. Prior to joining TD, Ed spent 18 years at Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of North American Rates and Securitized Product Sales, and ran the distribution effort that drove Deutsche’s market leading Fixed Income Franchise. Prior to Deutsche, Ed was a Senior Vice President in MBS and CMO Trading from 1987-1995 at Kidder Peabody. Ed earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania and MBA from the Wharton School. He is the Treasurer of the Board and sits on the Investment Committee of the Valley Hospital Foundation in Ridgewood, NJ.

 | Eileen Solla-Diaz, TD Securities Eileen is a Managing Director responsible for the Public Finance Origination and Agency Debt Capital Market teams. In her previous role at TD, Eileen managed a Fixed Income sales team covering a variety of clients including Insurance Companies, Asset Managers, State Funds, Central Banks and Middle Markets clients. Eileen joined TD Securities in July 2009 as part of team hired to build out the broker-dealer. Eileen brings over 15+ years of experience across capital markets. Eileen began her career at JP Morgan in Corporate Syndicate. She quickly became immersed in a trading career in the Treasury and Agency market. Eileen joined Bear Stearns in 2002 to create an Agency Capital Markets group. She was the senior relationship manager for the US Agency, Supra and Sovereign clients for the firm globally. | | Stuart Spodek, BlackRock Stuart Spodek, Managing Director, is the lead portfolio manager of The BlackRock Obsidian Fund, a global fixed income multi-strategy hedge fund. He is responsible for the Funds overall risk budgeting and sector allocation decisions. He is also a member of the Americas Fixed Income Executive Team. Mr. Spodek has been a senior portfolio manager on the Obsidian Fund since its inception in 1996 and assumed the role of lead portfolio manager at the end of 2007. Prior to the end of 2011 he was also the head of Short Duration Portfolios. Mr. Spodek joined BlackRock in 1993 as an analyst in BlackRocks Portfolio Management Group and became a portfolio manager in 1995. During his tenure at BlackRock, Mr. Spodek has held portfolio management responsibilities across fixed income sectors, managing short duration, long duration, mortgage, inflation-linked, global bond and multi-sector portfolios for clients. He also served as the co-head US Fixed Income within the Fundamental Fixed Income Platform. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Spodek was on the Board of Directors of ISDA, which represents participants in the privately negotiated derivatives industry. In 2011, he became a member of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee (TBAC). He co-authored "Inflation-Linked Bonds for the Total-Return Investor," a chapter within Inflation Risks and Products (Inclusive Media, 2008). Mr. Spodek serves as a member of the board for the New York City "I Have a Dream" Foundation. Robert Tipp, CFA, is a Managing Director, Chief Investment Strategist, and Head of Global Bonds for PGIM Fixed Income. In addition to co-managing the Global Aggregate Plus strategy, Mr. Tipp is responsible for global rates positioning for Core Plus, Absolute Return, and other portfolios. Mr. Tipp has worked at the Firm since 1991, where he has held a variety of senior investment manager and strategist roles. Prior to joining the Firm, he was a Director in the Portfolio Strategies Group at the First Boston Corporation, where he developed, marketed, and implemented strategic portfolio products for money managers. Before that, Mr. Tipp was a Senior Staff Analyst at the Allstate Research & Planning Center, and managed fixed income and equity derivative strategies at Wells Fargo Investment Advisors. He received a BS in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Tipp holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. As Executive Managing Director and Global Head of Foreign Exchange, Chris Vogel is responsible for TD Securities Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) Sales and Trading. In this role, he ensures TD’s FX strategy is implemented, reviews sales and best trading practices, and establishes an overall budget from a client segment coverage and sales basis. Prior to joining TD, Chris was BlackRock’s Co-Head of Global Trading. Prior to that role, Chris was Global Head of Fixed Income and Currency Trading to include credit, rates, SSA, MBS (cash and derivatives). Additionally, Chris was the CEO of BlackRock Execution Services, BlackRock’s broker/dealer established to facilitate transitions. While at BlackRock, he served as a member of the New York Federal Reserve Bank’s Foreign Exchange Committee (NYFRB’s FXC) from 2012 to 2017. Previously, as Global Head of G10 Currency Trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Chris managed a global team, both prior and during the institution’s merger. He started his career at J.P. Morgan Chase (Chase Manhattan Bank), holding numerous positions in currency and high grade rates trading. Chris graduated cum laude with a BSBA degree from the Villanova University School of Business in Villanova, Pennsylvania. Prior to his career in finance, Chris served in the United States Marine Corps as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the Infantry. He was a senior sponsor of the BlackRock Veterans network and has actively mentored and supported veterans transitioning out of the military. Currently, Chris is the Treasurer of the Yorktown High School “Huskers” Booster Club and a youth football coach. |  | Amy West, TD Securities Amy West is the Head of Sustainable Finance for TD Securities, which is part of Global Markets. In her role, Amy acts as the product champion for green and social bond issues, working closely with issuers, investors and internal partners. Amy joined TD Securities in June 2013 as part of its debt capital markets team, covering Supranational, Sovereign and Agency (SSA) clients. Building on TD’s strong SSA platform, she was asked to spearhead TD’s fixed-income efforts in the environmental, social and governance space, being named head of socially responsible finance in 2015.

Before joining TD, Amy worked for HSBC in debt capital markets after starting her career at RBS in their investment banking and debt capital markets teams. |  | Gemma Wright-Casparius, Vanguard Gemma Wright-Casparius is a Principal and Senior Portfolio Manager at Vanguard, where she heads the actively managed Treasury/Inflation team. The team actively manages the US TIPS fund, Short Term US Treasury Fund, Intermediate US Treasury Fund, Long Term Treasury Fund, US Core Bond Fund, and Intermediate Term Bond Fund. Ms. Wright-Casparius has been actively involved in many Vanguard crew engagement projects including leading talent development, recruiting and is currently a Senior Member of the IMG WILS leadership team. Ms. Wright-Casparius has over thirty years investment experience and for a number of years was a senior leader of the US Rate Strategy Team and head of the US Inflation Strategy Team for Barclay’s Capital. Mark Hughes, SVP, TD Bank N.A., serves as the Head of US Portfolio Management, overseeing TD Bank N.A.s $135B Investment Portfolio. Mark oversees all asset classes including the banks Liquidity and non-Liquidity portfolios. Prior to assuming this role heading up the Portfolio Management group, Mark had specific oversight over a variety of asset classes. Prior to his time with TD Bank, Mark served in a variety of roles at ING Direct US most recently as a Portfolio Manager in the banks Treasury group. Prior to that Mark started his career at the Vanguard Group before moving onto Morgan Stanleys Institutional Investment arm. Mark holds a B.S. in Finance and a B.A. in Political Science from LaSalle University. Mark also holds his M.B.A. from Temple Universitys Fox School of Business. Mark earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003.
| | Richard Schwartz, New York Life Investment Management Mr. Schwartz serves as Head of Investment Strategy for the Insurance and Annuity businesses of New York Life. In this capacity Mr. Schwartz oversees ALM and investment strategy for those businesses. Mr. Schwartz also serves on several senior level committees at the firm including the company’s Asset Liability Committee and the General Account Strategy Committee. Prior roles at New York Life have included Chief Derivative Officer, Chief Investment Officer for Annuities, Chief Investment Officer for Guaranteed Products and various trading roles. Prior to New York Life, Mr. Schwartz worked for The First Boston Corporation Mr. Schwartz holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the State University at Albany and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School. | |
